In 2015, saxophonist and composer Ivan Bonačić gathered musicians Viktor Lipić, an organist and pianist that he met in Zagreb, Filip Gavranović on guitar, and Adriano Bernobić on drums, his colleagues from University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria. In the past five years they’ve recorded the album Kraken, published for Geenger Records, in late 2017. Since then, these musicians have performing extensively, playing the original music of Bonačić. In 2019, Borko Rupena became the drummer, and a Zagreb-based jazz musician, Filip Pavić, filled the position of guitarist. Together they recorded the album Dream Aviary, released in March 2022. In 2024, the band was joined by one the most prolific Croatian jazz and soul vocalists, Valerija Nikolovska. The band is currently working on new music, to be released in 2026.
